Unsettling News!

Well I'll start with the good part first...

Payton had her 2 year Dr. appointment on Monday and she is a VERY healthy girl. She stands 35 1/2" tall and weighs 28 lbs. She has GREAT hearing and she is growing wonderfully!

Onto the bad part...
They want to send her for blood work, which is now standard proceedger! The blood work is for a basic CBC - blood count and lead! I asked the Dr. how they take blood for such and thing and he went onto say, they take it like they would an adult, from the veins in the arm. Now Payton is only 2 years old, she has such tiny little arms and I have no idea how they expect a child of her age or any age to sit through such a thing. I'm very upset about this and have no idea what I'm going to do! I went and called the Dr. this morning again to see if there was another option for this, and she said NO!

I DO NOT want to put my little girl through this...
